For all miles and points, you can leave up to 5,000 miles as a balance. For example, if you need 65,000 miles but purchase a 70,000-mile account, we will only charge you for the 65,000. However, if you leave more than 5,000 miles, you will be required to purchase the full account, including the 5,000-mile allowance.
